Dr. Carole Kowalczyk
Dr. Carole Kowalczyk is an experienced fertility care provider who offers her patients a balance of strong clinical expertise, extensive research experience and warm personal care. She is Board-Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist.
Dr. Kowalczyk is the Medical Director of the Michigan Center for Fertility and Women’s Health. She is also Associate Residency Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. John Hospitals and is Assistant Clinical Professor FTA at Wayne State University.
Dr. Kowalczyk attended the University of Michigan where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in biochemistry. She then earned her medical degree from Wayne State University.
Dr. Kowalczyk and her husband have four children and reside in Grosse Pointe Farms.
Michael Kirk
The Michigan Center for Fertility and Women’s Health contains a high-tech embryology and andrology laboratory directed by, Michael Kirk, MT, ELD/TS. He is a Board Certified embryology laboratory director, board certified technical supervisor-andrology/embryology and a licensed medical laboratory professional. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. Michael Kirk has worked in the field of fertility technology and embryology for more than 15 years. He specializes in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) which includes; in vitro fertilization (IVF), assisted hatching (AH), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and cryopreservation of oocytes, sperm and embryos using conventional and vitrification techniques. Michael Kirk is a great asset to the Michigan Center for Fertility and Women's Health with his willingness to consult with and educate clients.
